Next Wednesday is looking pretty good in Shonan.
The wind should switch from west to calm in the early morning.
The waves are expected to head-high.
The typhoon is likely to change course to
the west without getting too close to Japan.
As a result, western Japan will not close out,
and we can expect big waves.
Shonan is a bit far, so we can't expect big waves,
and southwest winds will mess up the conditions.
We're just hoping the wind dies down only in the morning.
The next groundswell is expected
to hit Shonan around next Monday.
Expect offshore northeast winds in the morning,
along with a moderate tide.
Southern Chiba and Omaezaki should also see good conditions.
with little hope for any solid groundswell.
However, Shonan should see offshore northeasterly winds
during the morning, offering waist-to-chest high waves as pic below.
The next typhoon is likely to develop around next week.
Small east swells are hitting the Shonan coast today.
Northeast winds are making ocean clean until sunset.
It will start onshore winds in Shonan tomorrow morning,
but turn offshore before noon.
Waves will keep a waist to chest size all day, hopefully.
Typhoon swells have finally hit Shonan.
Unfortunately almost swells missed strike zone,
so the waves are small.
But the chances are better tomorrow
because the typhoon will move further west tonight.
The winds direction will keep north east
which means it will be offshore.
